Josh Finsel and Amber Breiner are a husband and wife team of wedding photographers working in the Poconos, Central PA, Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, California, Oregon, Washington, India and Italy. They focus on these locations because they know them well and have lived and/or worked in these places. Please contact us for a quote for your event. Brought together by their shared love of photography, the outdoors, music, travel and good food, Josh and Amber share a partnership in marriage as well as in business. They started their wedding photography business in early 2006. They keep very busy and have been fortunate to work with some great couples in spectacular locations. Amber is a graduate of Temple University's Visual Anthropology program. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Liberal Arts from Temple in Philadelphia, PA in 2002 and her Master of Public Administration from University of Oregon in in Eugene, OR in 2008. She has more than 10 years experience and training as a photographer with a specialty in portraiture. Amber's portfolio is complemented by her international experience. She lived and worked as a photographer in Rome, Italy and in northwestern India. Her work has won awards and has been exhibited in group and solo shows.
Joshua Finsel earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Kutztown University in Kutztown, PA in 2000. He has worked as a freelance photographer in New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Oregon, California and Washington and assisted for over 10 years with former clients including Glen Johnson, Darren Modricker, Backpacker, Men's Health and Runner's World magazines, among others. Josh has exhibited award-winning fine art photography in galleries throughout the country. |
Josh and Amber are amazing photographers. I did a lot of research of various photographers, (we must have interviewed at least 10 photographers if not more), and out of everyone we chose Josh and Amber. They are both very professional, reliable, as well as friendly, and are willing to travel (they traveled 3 hours to get to our wedding). I can't tell you how many compliments I got from guests who were impressed with our photographers. There are a lot of photographers out there, but few are as good as Josh and Amber. As individuals, Josh and Amber have incredible talent and professionalism; together they produce quality work that rivals photographs seen in magazines. Having Amber and Josh as our photographers was one of the best wedding planning decisions we made. Their creative input, professionalism, and ability to work at our outdoor event (in all the kinds of weather we experienced that day!) was outstanding.
